well, team. i've still got nothin', but i've decided to
upload the most listenable chunk of...'something' that i
have lying around in hopes of getting some kind of
feedback...or something. or just something to go on while
wasting more time organizing clickies and beepies into
something resembling music.

...or something.

gentlemen...BEHOLD! (track: seed)

woah ambsace your music has come on leaps and bounds since I
last listened. This piece is really dark and moody. I like
it a lot. The beats are great, understated. keep up the good
work. :D

great atmospheric stuff as usual mr. ambsace. you have great
textures here and some standout melodic patterns. i also
enjoy the very sublte beatwork here. good stuff once again
sir. :D

Really good track...I like the beat work in the track, good
atmosphere. Only bad point is the main synth seems to be a
little high compared to the other sounds in the track. If
you could lower the volume of that down everything would
feel more settled :D Really good track though :D

maybe i'll have a party of my own here in my little basement
nook. i have enough whiskey samplers to last a life time
(the perks of trading my video store benefits with the guy
who owns the liquor store. yay!).

I was gonna say that the scratching noises at the start were
too quiet relative to the tones, but now think they're fine
as a backgroundish thing. They have a realish quality kinda
like I care because you do ish instead of identical sounds
in a tracker program. But I'm spending too much time on the
beginning, well I'm biased to talk most about that since I
heard it first. *takes a break to drink some orange juice*
The whole track is quite unified as a single track
thing, kinda startlingish eeryish feelings. The odd
timed base drums were cool, but that was pretty much the
only other buildup that was easily mentally seperable from
the rest as a single part at least on the first listen.

This is real nice but i think it could do with a little
development.

It's nice to hear something from you though it's been a long
time.

I'm aching to hear this thing but my windows box is in the
middle of a reinstall and the leeenooks box doesn't have a
sound card.

=(

well. yes, development it could use, indeed. i just faded
off the end to put it up here. just a chunk of the more
listenable scraps i have around. but yes...thank you, sir.
that's very kind.

TODAY I'M FEELING GOOD. thanks, guys. =]

and mr. fleetmouse. don't even worry your cutsie little
mousie head over it. the thought is worth more than enough.

Finally got my sound drivers and winamp installed. Your
track will inaugurate this, my 243,657,324th reinstallation
of Windows.

Yeah, and a good track it is too. Funny that you called it
seed - it reminds me a bit of Posthuman who are on the Seed
label.

haha. well. i'm honored. thanks. =]

and i'm not familiar with posthuman. i'll check 'em out
(er...assuming they're worth checking out).

See if you can find a track by them called wrongfuleyes. It
has this amazing slinky sinister rhythm. The whole
uncertainty of the monkey album is great. There's also an EP
by them but it isn't as good....

this is a very good track indeed. definitely the best out
of the five. it reminded me of the end sequence of 2001 for
some reason - i guess it sounds like outer space to me. the
ending seems a bit abrupt however. is this just a clip of a
longer piece? anyway it's very cool.

well...it's not finished, i s'pose, no. heh.

but yes. thank you. i'm honored that one of your 25 posts
was spent telling me about my track. cheers. =]

(and you even listened to the other tracks that were there!
ack! i'm sorry you suffered through that. the only one i
really want to keep up there is 'kksh'. the others are
getting old. heh.)
