I have put up a 30 second sample of my remix of 5 Interconnected Passageways by Kcinsu. I have decided on a drum and bass remix...the first drum and bass track I have ever tried. I would appreciate thoughts :D Cheers peeps. |

When it is finished :) I had basically finished it but I have now decided to add some mashed up stuff to it so it will sound like a monster when it is finished :D |

i haven't heard the original so i can't tell you about it's "remix value," but these 30 seconds are really intricate. the image that comes to mind is running through a hallway filled with mechanical arms reaching out before the space ship is going to blow up. the song isn't really in a style i would listen to regularly (its sort of hard on the ears, and i would probably like it better if i could hear a melody) but i really like how the high pitched sounds in the background add to the atmosphere and the amount of detail throughout the track. something of the track is probably lost because it is only 30 seconds too, not enough time to fully escalate to a climax. be sure to post when you have the full version done! |
