i do listen to stuff other than warp and rephlex but my
point is that warp used to be the leader in electronic
music, but with much the same line-up as the good years it
just cant compete with its former glories: is it the artists
or is it warp or is it the scene itsef- if the leader can
fall that far what about the little fish? many labels are
hit and miss but warp has gone from all hits to pretty much
all misses. my point is that is warp's decline a reflection
of a declining scene? there are many good artists out there
but they are usually inconsistant, with an album with a few
gems and 10 cack tracks. while the electronic music scene
definately expands beyond warp it is still an integral part
of it so where does the genre go from here?
