Spontaneous Pneumothorax was a fun week lung collapse im back home now power outage hit the hospital i was in. weeee you shoulda seen the tube they stuck between my ribs omg pain |

Hospitals are cool they produce a unique and surreal vibe.. especially the snack bars and nice landscaping I wish i was Doogie Howser sometimes... anyway, sorry about the painful lung problem.. feel better soon! :*) |

my cousin ended up in the hospital last week after a severe motorcycle accident, he just about broke every part of his body. a mutual friend of ours was piloting the motorcycle and he has passed since. i, however, have spent the longest time in hospitals only because i have been there for others. personally, i have no serious injuries/operations to my name. |

this Friday one of my friends fell down a roof and broke both hands and punctured a lung. another friend, on the same evening, fell on his bike and got a concussion and probly broken ribs |

hurt like hell putting the 2nd one in because a) its a huge fucking tube and b) he took the 1st small one out, and my chest was already sore, so putting this one in already was hurting. taking it out it was like the most empty feeling in my life. left hand on chest, and right hand on tube he goes, DEEP BREATHE and pulls the tube straight out real fast then quickly covers it with bandage, its like the most empty feeling when he took it out i just layed there lifeless in pain |

well i didnt use flash and didnt have light so there was bout a 1/5 exposure time so my hand was slightly moving thus long exposure time = comes out blurry/distrorted |

i'm dying to know, what exactly is 'Spontaneous Pneumothorax" and why did that happen to you? please dont tell me it can happen to just anyone just because its 'spontaneous'. i could do a google search, but an answer here would be so much more satisfiying :D nice photo btw. |
