ok, I'm applying for a unit, and the application form asks for information about my previous adresses, there is the one I am living and the position goes like this, the mother's name is on the lease, as well as his son, the mother lives with his boyfriend elsewhere, the son stays in the house and the mother pays the rent, I move in, but the landlord knows nothing about it I want ot move now, but I'd have to list the name and number of the landlord, and they would ring him up and ask about me, and maybe the landlord would think to himself "this guy isn't signed onto the lease, I wonder what else suss has been going on" my friend (who has so kindly let me stay at his house (he's a hermit and enjoys his privacy, which I am pushing into)) I don't want to get him in trouble, so I am hesitant about putting down the info, do you think it could cause any hassle, maybe should I note on the application form "temporarily staying with friend, landlord would be unaware" or something, what should I do? my previous landlord from my last adress before this has written me a killer reference though, which will help... |
