BT is amazing

Im going to get so much crap for this...

but BT is fucking great. His production beats the crap out
of truely, almost all of the IDM artists. Only a few
exceptions to that...

Have you listened to his new song, that has over 6000 vocal
edits?

Its so glitched the fuck out... but its dancy. Its truely
Intellegent dance music...

I think this is something IDM lacks... good production.
There may be some amazing "sounds" and amazing ideas... but
when it comes down to the overall mix, and clarity of the
music... IDM can somewhat lack...

anyways.... yeah

diabolical communication company in the UK.....I was
thinking to myself "WTF?!?"

:P

Tom Jenkerson.

BT is the worst kind of bland, soulless horse-sucking drivel
it's even been my distinct lack of pleasure to have to
endure. Oakenfold is fucking awful, and BT so badly wants to
chow down on Oakenfold's cock cheese.
I don't care how great the production might be, the music is
utter shite.

Zeus, if it's called intellegent dance music then I
dare to question it's intelligence ;)

well, its not called intellegent dance music

its popy trance techno stuff

but Im calling it intellegent, because its just so damn
good, and actullly uses some glitch, in a pop medium. its
great.

BT is one of the founders of trance btw... and has worked
with alot of pop singers as producer

but dude CHECK THIS SONG

His name is Brian Transceau, if you can believe that. And I
don't like him mostly because I got suckered into buying a
CD by him and it was really really bad. And everything else
I've since heard has also been just as bad. Bland and drab.

its just... so many IDM people are close minded... (again im
not refering to people in this thread... its an overall
statement).

Its like... so many people pride themselves in being
openminded, cause they listen to such different music... but
you know, they arnt open minded... they just have a
different taste. if they were open minded, theyd have a
wider range of music taste.

Dance music was my start with electronic music. ive grown
into IDM, and I fucking love it... but I dont forget that a
dancy mainstream song can still rock my ass off. Im not too
above it, or some shit.

Zeus, I know you've shelved reason now, but you can get a
refill by BT (called something like "Twisted Textures") that
contains loads of his synth patches multisampled for the
NN-19.

nice

hey, my roommate just got an access virus... its fucking
amazing!

its impossible for it to sound bad. I just put on patches,
and twiddle knobs, and its just so warm and rich!

its the first hardware ive seen in long time, that is
actually tempting to get...

have you used it?

I've got a refill from the Duchasian Institute of loads of
patches made on the access virus, but I've not had a go on
the real thing. I'm not sure if I ever got that refill to
work so I don't know what it sounds like. I'll have to give
it a closer look next time I fire Reason up.

The Virus C desktop one looks nice, I can see it sitting
well next to my midi controller.

These 3 paragraphs were stupider than my post about poop
waffles. I actually found the track on soulseek. I like the
small handful of weird vocal edits quite a bit, but
definately not the rest of the song. It sounds like music
they play at fitness centers.

It's not that BT is intelligent....it's just that you're too
stupid to know any different. Anyone that charms out a
string of words like:

"but Im calling it intellegent, because its just so damn
good, and actullly uses some glitch, in a pop medium. its
great."

should be dragged out to the desert with sasha blaring on
the car radio and violently clawed through the stomach with
some obscure gay percussion instrument they learned about
last week in "teach me how to be creative" music
class......die....and take bt's hairgel with you

and you saying you would prefer a virus over reaktor is
funny as all hell. Tell your music teacher you would prefer
a hardware synth every dnb act in the world owns stock in
over a program that lets you build your own.
