Where do you like listening to this kind of music?

It's just I was listening to Confield in the bath last night
and it scared the shit out of me! It was great!

there`s something about idm_glitch_drum n bass_jungle music
that i loooovvveeee to listen to it on my phat technics
headphones. i love to listen to it on my car, while driving
at night, with my windows shut. really focused on it and
real loud. and of course, jungle & drum n bass at gigs is
awesome, jump and dance and twitch till you drop i say!

Driving through country lanes in the middle of summer
listening to Geogaddi is excellent. The album seems a lot
less dark in mood in that context.

When I'm really actively listening to IDM rather than just
having it as background music, I tend to sit in my leather
reclining chair in the dark with my nice closed back
sennheisers on.

In my room, while reading, toking or listening to the World
Service in the background...(depends what kind of music
though obviously) :-)

Also out walking...BoC, Fila Brazillia and my mate from home
are great for that...

In my big comfy chair placed directly in the center of all
my speakers in 5 channel stereo mode, with the subwoofer
kicking and moaning. Loud. I have good neighbors.

I envy you sir! I have hundreds of great albums, and my
stereo system's in dear old Blighty, I have to listen to a
tinny little piece of shit that I'm shortly gonna sell
before moving to Portugal and probably buying an equally
shit one... :-(

*looks forward to the momentous day when he comes back home,
gets a place of his own and hooks up his system of dooooom*
:-D

Autechre I like listen to while thinking about cutting my
wrists at home. BoC I like listening to while sitting in a
field thinking about cutting my wrists. Aphex I like
listening to when I am sleepy and thinking about cutting my
wrists. Squarepusher I like listening to while I am angry
thinking about cutting my wrists. Luke Vibert I listen to
while I am too lazy to change the CD and I am thinking about
cutting my wrists.

When nobody's home, all the windows in my house shut, late
in the evening, while I'm snorting coke of a prostitute's
emaciated pelvis.

Sounds like fun. I would add a gas oven turned on full with
no flame to my ideal night though.

I've never been a rich guy, but I've always loved listening
to music, and listening to it well. I bought my system, all
pretty top notch stuff, over a period of 7 years! It was a
spending priority, but now I'm happy and chilling.

Beautiful. No shit though, I've always kind of liked to
listen to harsh shit while watching pop music viseos with
the sound off. Always funny as hell, in a Windowlicker kind
of way.
