Incubus: who likes em?

well?...

i'm really into "s.c.i.e.n.c.e." and "fungus amongus".
"make yourself" is good too, but in another league.
Haven't heard "morning view"...

erhm....i .....uh...dunno....

but "Calgone" from "s.c.i.e.n.c.e." has a wicked 10 minute
elektro-fuckup track

I think the vocalist has really terrible flow. He tries to
stuff too many words into a line, like Alanis Morissette.
His lyrics are awful too. Maybe he should sing through a
vocoder so we would understand them. No go for me.

yeah kinda... I own Make Yourself, and it's ok... lots o
memories attached to it... I rarely listen to it, but it's
better then most poppy, rap rock out there... I like the
nice fluid guitar sound on that album...

1) Why would you be insulting me?
2) I'm much older than you are?
3) He is not a good vocalist.

i used to like them when the lead singer had long thick
dread-locks

now they make perfect songs for the perfect yuppy, mtv, top
40 children

some of it is ok, but not gonna buy it

sure ;)

but hey...I kinda look at Incubus with my "I too want to
sing in a funkalicious band"-eyes, so I'm not surprised if
people don't see incubus as good decent music

If you look at my life on the surface, I might almost seem
like a yuppie. I work in an office on weekdays, I own an
upscale German import (come on!) I drink a lot of green tea
with honey from a can. But I do not like Incubus. Mostly
because of Brandon's voice.
(He is dreamy though. HAHA)

morning view just turned GAY the other before that were
good

Science and Fungus amongus had to have been their best-when
Brandon had his dreads

Not me. But I respect them. I don't see why girls are so
crazy about Brandon Boyd though, seems horribly bland to
me.

I like ''I Miss You'', probably my favorite song by them.

bothered by the vocals.

the lead singer of incubus is a fucking fag who has no
talent.

talent.

plain and simple most people who like incubus are fucking
yuppies, or people who like the last 2 cds by them, they
blow so hard its almost not even funny. almost.

they are a no one cares about them band, where are they
now!? without their precious and ever so deserved (not!)
place in the top 40 chart, they are nothing but ghosts in
the cd racks. fucking losers.

they have talent.. they are just using it in all the wrong
ways now..
they are trying too hard to appeal to the masses.

They used to be one of my favorite bands, but now I can't
stand them. A bunch of fucking sell-outs if you ask me.
'Fungus Amongus', 'Enjoy Incubus EP', and especially
'S.C.I.E.N.C.E.' are great, creative albums. They were
pretty original back then, and showed some great talent. Now
they just suck ass, as REFLEX put it. They fucking piss me
off! Ok, I'm done.

that part is at the very end of s.c.i.e.n.c.e. the hidden
tracks, round minute 22 i think. i dunno, i was really
into these fellas back when they released "fungus among us",
the "enjoy" re-edition of fungus among us, and
"s.c.i.e.n.c.e.", after that, they became a little
faggy-pop-tarts for me.

if i just stick to jungle and idm i guess i`ll be fine for
now. no mtv cute faces needed yet.

I've heard Fungus Amongus, SCIENCE, Make Yourself, Morning
View and a really early thing from before Fungus Amongus.
I can honestly say not one song has sounded remotely
tolerable to me. By far my least favourite band of all time.

Did you hear all those releases one time only, and with the
intention of disliking them from the start? I surtenly hope
so, cause I really can't understand that your musical taste
is buried so much in dirt, that you can't even recognize
good music.

I like their first three albums, and I will keep on liking
them. But to me it really seems strange that someone can
hate everything that they do even though that person has
spend time hearing everything they have made. If Incubus
really was the worst band in the world, I'm pretty sure that
I would hear it on the first song I heard from them, and I'm
also sure I wouldn't have spend time checking all the albums
for tracks.
