by the way, in the last volume of '3x3 Eyes' out in france, there is some kind of reflection about this - normal people (Natsuko, a normal girl who grew up into a woman, leading a normal life) living their "real" life, boring, envying the others, fantastic characters (Yakumo, a boy who knew Natsuko when he was still real but who turned into a "wu", immortal, not growing up anymore and having painful but extraordinary adventures - - - Natsuko misses Yakumo a lot, and when she finally meets him, she somehow shows her true self (not by her free will though, there is black magic or something like that involved so that Yakumo enters her interior world), she is so angry and hating about the life she has and jealous of him even though she tries to portray and restrain this, she loves Yakumo and hates him at the same time, she doesn't forgive him but feels like she needs him, and wants the world to disappear)... |
