This movie was shit. There was all these stupid horses
walking around and talking to eachother in french accents.
And there was this stupid monster called Kamja or koomja, I
couldn't even tell the way the pronounced it. Then the
horses all ran off a cliff at the end. Oh wait, I didn't see
it.

I'd like to see the horses running ogg the cliff, that
sounds kinda funny. The rest sounds awful.
I actually have no idea what this thread is about aside from
a movie I've never heard of.

it was nothing to do with horses.... the movie is sorta a
kids film, but not really as well, its really imaginative
and very thoughtful. i really enjoyed it, trippy too, that
monster "no face" was pretty creepy, funny too

This movie is stunning... see the japanese sountracked one
as the Disney version sucks imo....

If you like this def. check out "My Neighbor Totoro,"
"Castle in the Sky," and "Princess Mononoke" of course.

Me too. I had to go back and see it 4 times on the big
screen (Japanese version with subtitles - no crappy dubbing
for me!). I would love to buy it on DVD but the subtitles
are MASSIVE and cover a fair amount of the artwork... GRRRR
:(

sprited away. not spirit: stallion of the climarron.

i was wondering if the soundtrack was disney-ized. not
particularly terrible but seemed to have too much
predictable music on throughout too much of the movie. are
there any big changes in the japanese version?

When I was watching this movie in the theatre all that kept
coming to mind was " wHAT THE FUCK!?!!?!?" But it was
awesome non the less. That little bird-like thing carrying
about that beaver-like thing was histerical. I really
enjoyed the movie but it was as random as can be.

I give it two paws up.

i found it amusing that disney released this movie because i
don't know very many kiddies that would understand this
movie very well, plus there were some parts i thought might
be too scary for kiddie boppers.

it was so inventive, and imaginative....and unexpected in
some ways. i would have loved to have seen the original
japanese version, i purchsed the DVD i wonder if it has the
original un dubbed version on it.?!?!?....ehehhehe

*checks*

thanks afxnumb.

i'm actually redoing it. the first page you see when you go
to it is what i'm going to change all the pages to or
something along the same lines. i hope i can make it come
out half decent. now if only i had some sort of content to
put on it....

This movie was good, but I thought that Warrior of the Wind
was FAR better IMHO.

;)
and that was YEARS before spirit was even concieved

it is the most financially sucessful film of all time to
come out of japan.

Also, watching it repeatedly has helped me improve my
japanese.

Spirited away was beautifull. Kiki's delivery service
(another movie by the same people) was fun too, but not as
kool, cause its obviously a kids movie. The talking cat was
kinda cute though.
