 little cheesy....?

 | cool. it's the neverending story when they're looking at the 2nd gate (the two giant statues that shoot lazers)... you
just find choir voices on the net and loop them to produce
the continuous tone? The melody that comes in near 3:00
doesn't really add to it in a positive way, nor the beat
that comes in later. At the 4 min mark it's becoming
irritating wondering what the remaining 4 minutes will be
like, instead of having fun enjoying as they unfold. Eh,
it's not that bad, the sounds working together grow on you
as they fade away. Now something else is starting up in some
sort of finale I guess. There's quite a lot of time spend
fading out from the last part and then from this part,
that's a large chunk of the track. But I guess it does add
to it's character. Your grade is 1b7 out of a total of 1yy
 points.

 | Sorry man, but that Track isnt very good, not that i could make a better track...but....it sounds like you used some
really cheesy preset sounds for that Bassline, the
percussion is adding nothing to the track, maybe you should
put some kind of clap, on the 5 & 13, and get RID of that
aweful choir.....yeah, and last but not least you should
 download

 | Subtlety... totally lacks subtlety
The fade is fairly dramatic from the beginning to when it
gets to it's loudest. Would be more effective if you made it
more gradual, started louder, and gained volumn. Same with
the fade at the end, beginnings and endings are tough.
Actually in this case I think some really sudden changes,
something heavy coming out of nowhere, would be neat as long
as it TOTALLY changed the mood of the piece for a while.

The panning on the arpeggio'd plucked sound, not subtle, not
interesting, basic going back and forth.

No real big changes happening, repeats a little too much, no
 fun effects mania, etc

You have foundation for a good track, but obviously a ton of
work to do. Some melodies, more variation, whatever comes to
mind. Shelf it and come back when you feel like you have a
 fresh perspective?

The mastering is pretty good, especially when all the parts
get there. I like the bass line with the bass drum, the sort
of walking stand up bass jazz line, ala Royksopp, works
really well with the bass drum. It's catchy.
