 | Well I watched this and i'm still not convinced. i think for the most part, this guy sings self-obsessed dross that has
neither a distinctive melody, nor is his voice up to
scratch. I apoligise if you are a Nick Cave fan, but
personally I have an overall opinion. HE SUCKS!!! heh heh

 | Nick Cave used to be incredible, iconic even but he tragically degenerated into a ham, with his balladry only
tip toe above the dross that Meat Loaf shovels out. For me
that duet with Kyle was the begining of the END. Murder
Ballads is a pound of ham wrapped in saturated fat.
Those so dumb founded by his recent dross will be frightened
witless by THE BIRTHDAY PARTY, it's safe to assume.

 | Sorry, I wasn't impressed but I gave it a chance.
Halfway through I had to wash out my musical receptors with
 some Tom Waits.

For dark songwriting Nick Cave can't match Tom Waits.. or
 his voice.. or the arrangements.

I also though all the religious iconography was a bit naff
 too.

On stage he's like some Indie vocalist a la Jim Morrison..
 again, boring.

 Just my opinion of course.
