Me again, back from his commital today, which went very well. ( the funeral started out very well, but then it turned at the end into something not appropriate.) He has a beautiful gravestone with a beautiful selfportrait he drew etched into it. I have his entire portfolio which i hope to begin scanning, as well as a lot of pictures. Can anyone here reccomend a good free webspace provider? or have any extra webspace they are not using?.

i never really talked to him directly on this board, which i now regret, though, because i do remember him as being a really kind and interesting person from his posts. i remember him making me laugh many times with his humorous posts, and i'm sure many of you feel the same way, even if you didn't know him personally.
his profile said something like "if you're looking for sympathy, you've tuned to the wrong channel" that might be the case ,in a way, on this board, but it definitely was not how he was in real life, as a person.
that statement was proven wrong by the complete sympathetic selflessness that he showed in his final actions on this earth.. it was in his very nature as a person to be sympathetic, especially during extremely dire situations.
this whole thing is so tragic,.. he is really a hero, and had a really noble heart.
my condolences to his close friends on this mb, and his family if they ever read this.
he is truly going to be missed.

"Greater love has no man than he who lays down his life for his friends."
Cabbog didn't intend to die when he went to help his brother, but he was probably aware that he was risking his life. I think it is a very "honourable" death. That's probably the wrong word, but it's the nearest to the message I'm trying to convey.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends (both online and in real life). Very sorry to see you go so soon in your life. I hope you are at peace now. God bless you.
Refund: You hit the nail on the head perfectly. We are family.

someone: "You're fucked up to make jokes about this."
w M w: "In his will, he requested that I make this joke to lighten the situation of his death."
someone: "liar, go to hell."
w M w: "Well, I hope that fall didn't hurt too bad. Fucking gravity. Why couldn't we have lived on the moon? There have been many worse deaths, like african grazers getting picked on and devoured by carnivores all the time. Death is natural and this reminds everyone of their mortality. It happened though and if it didn't happen this way it would have happened some other way, as it will happen to us all. It's probably best to get out of this crazy time and place of earth as soon as possible anyway. If it'll cheer you up you can read "the meme machine" to see that our selves are perhaps illusions anyway in a massive evolutionary algorithm that is perfectly capable of unfolding without anyone around watching.
condolences, 3 E 3"

Gabriel may have wanted us to make light of the situation in a way, like what you are trying to do.. you probably knew him much more than i did, but if a printout/email of this thread is going to be sent to his family, then these type of posts are kind of inappropriate.
making light of death in general, that can be a good thing, but that's really not the point of this.. and i don't think that everyone should feel so bad particularly because of the way Gabriel passed away, so much, it's just that he was a very kind and talented individual, and all these posts here all show this.. the real tragedy is that had his whole life ahead of him.. from the relatively little i had known about him, and from what i've learned from this thread, like that he was a great artist, i know he could have done so much more with his life..
this is just really sad.... i don't know if making light of this will help quite yet..
sorry.. that's just my opinion.. i might be wrong, as usual.

That is really the most awful thing i heard in a long time. I was wondering when he'd be coming back online... but now he won't :-( I can't believe it.
He was such a nice guy. I talked to him alot about computergames and zelda in particular. And a couple of weeks/months ago i also sent him a big package with a letter and copies of my drawings. I was waiting for him to write me back :-( We had talked about sending drawings back and forth, i haven't seen much of his work yet but what i saw was amazing.

surrounded - I remember seeing your letter laying out open next to his computer. I am sure he was going to be getting to writing back soon, if he hadn't already started.
What Q4Z2X said is very appropriate;
Simon norris and Steven thrower (members of cyclobe- current and ex members of Coil and death in june) had been trying to get gabe to come live with them in London for over two years. Gabe was very nervous about doing so, he didnt have the most confidence on his ability to survive on his own, but i sensed he was about to do it. London is where gabe needed to be, and it is truly tragic that he never got there, as he would have become a part of the entire Coil, Nurse with wound, Current 93 ("england's hidden reverse") triangle that was so dear to him (and me as well).
he had so much potential, but hadn't quite gotten the confidence to unleash it yet. He was hoping to leave home very soon, and he would have blossomed in a new environment.

I can't stop thinking about this :-( I never thought something like this could affect me so much, since i've never met him in real life... but it has, it makes me so sad.
I realise that he has touched me, even though only with written words, and i just miss him. I hate it that this is so definitive. He's just gone, forever. I feel like nacmat... really hoping there is a heaven somewhere where he went to. A better place. He definitly would have deserved it.
I wish i would have had time to get to know him better. I recognised so much in alot of the things he said, i feel like we could have become really good friends.
Playing the new zelda isn't going to be even half as much fun without having him around to talk about it.
