$10.50 for a chem lab something or other sounds low.

I ain't knocking you, but that sounds like a technical job,
does that pay go up with experience a lot, or am I
confused.

I mean, chem lab tech sounds like you should be getting
$50/hour and know all the goverment secrets.

I may just be dumb.........

$10.50 for a chem lab something or other sounds low.

With a plethora of other benefits, it's pretty
substantial...

does that pay go up with experience a lot, or am I
confused.

Raises are possible, yes.

I didn't take the job for financial gain. It has much-needed
technical experience I need in order to go into research
fields years down the road. You have to have a wide range of
experiences to get anywhere in a materials research field.

I may just be dumb.........

You're a lot smarter than you were a year ago. Give yourself
some credit...

;)

glad to hear the job is going well.

I hate driving to work anymore. I take the bus now. Gas is
$2.24 a gallon now for regular.

Then you waste it all in traffic.

I hope you can ride your bike to work or something, or your
office is in a far away land, free of congestion and SUVs

my friends and I were dead set on making sheets of acid and
selling them to our school mates.

We had all the instructions, but couldn't really figure out
where to get the chemicals and such.

Would have been a money maker, but we prolly would have
gotten caught, we we're smart then, and still aren't now =)
