if you like jackass, and i'm sure that alone will turn people away from this topic, you'll like this. its very funny skate video stuff in the vein of jackass, and what caught my eye about initially, aside from it being funny, was the good music featured on the one i saw. theres a well edited scene done to "come to daddy" as well as some pretty beautiful footage of iceland shot to "halcyon on and on" and "hyperballad". surprisingly good, funny video. |

You are aware that a lot of the people on Jackass are on the cky videos right? Just the way you worded, but I proly misread. But yes, the CKY videos kick ass. Much more original than jackass when you think about it. It wasn't about how much mtv was paying them. |

cky1, 2, 3, and 4 are all better than jackass. CKy is where all this jackass stuff came from, its bams ideas..... its a lot funnier too. |

yeah, i'm fully aware, i was wording it that way for people who haven't seen either one or don't know much about jackass. it kind of seems like bam margera basically made jackass what it was by editing together old cky footage and then knoxville came in and they were able to market it to mtv. |

Didn't knoxville quit after they made jackass the movie? I plan on buying the cky dvd boxset. They indeed are better than jackass, and there is less puking. |

the second one is definitely the funniest, followed by the fourth. from what i saw of the third it wasn't really that funny, although the part where the guy takes a shit while running was admittedly hilarious. |

from what i understand they all quit after that, although i'm sure cky's will still be made. i think knoxville was more in it for the money as well as a launch to an acting career. from what i've seen he can't skate worth shit, although he is very funny. |

I think knoxville was there to take the things bam and the rest didn't want to. You don't see them boxing with people that would beat there asses. Knoxville takes a hell of beating in the 3 seasons of jackass. |

yeah, that he does. i'd say him and his crew are a bit more extreme than the cky guys, although some of the stuff they do is absolutely insane. |

cky 3 was bad, in my opinion. But yes number 2 is quite good. Number one was ok to. [haven't seen no 4] It's weird none of you mentioned the Big Brother videos... Big Brother magazine is a skatemag in the US (published by the same publisher as Penthouse), and they made a couple of videos aswell. I've seen two of them "boob" and "crap" and I have to say they are quite different from CKY, but the skatefootage is much better! But then it comes from a skate-mag, so ;) It has some funny party-footage to... thoose skaters are crazy. anyway jackass is pretty much people from the cky crew + people from the big brother crew... |
