My girlfriend came over last night and was pretty shook up. She said that when she had gone to take the car and come here it had been totally covered in flies. None of the other cars had flies on them, just her's. She had to use a big "brush" (don't know a good english word for it right now) to get them off. She's pretty superstitious, with her roots in Yugoslavia - where suprstition is part of the culture I guess - and was convinced that it was an omen. Her parents are gonna use that car this weekend to travel down through Europe so that's what made her worried... Anyone heard of flies being an omen? |

My idea was that...well, she had parked the car and been at a friends place, and maybe it was the only car around that was warm and therefor attracted them or that something had simply been dripping on the roof. The she described it was that it was totally covered with flies on the roof...soon I'll be seeing the Mothman in my mirror I suppose. |
