No you don't, you can go to the Sun website and download
their Java plugin for windows XP :D

I don't know if it tells you but you have to type:

"q"- to quaff a potion
"r"- to read a scroll
"w"- to wield a weapon
"e"- to eat something
hmm... I forgot most others
