 | I'm planning to get a new CD in a week or so... I am stuck on trying to decide which of these two albums I should get
(keep in mind I only have enough $$ to buy one)

 It's either going to be:

-Autechre: Tri Repetae (the single disc version)

 or...

 -Plaid: Double Figure

If it helps: I have 2 Autechre releases (Chiastic Slide and
Peel Sessions 2) and no Plaid.)

 HELP! :-)

 | definitely plaid.
double figure is pretty essential anyways, not that tri
repetae isnt. but i don't like autechre. and plaid is good.
and i'm biased, but you need some plaid in your collection
sooner or later anyways. i am rambling. oh i love it. double
 figure, no question :)

 | I'd rather have two copies of tri rep than a copy of each, from what I remember hearing of double figure. Not for
threes would be a much better contender though still would
lose IMO. Just listen to them yourself and decide instead of
cluttering up the board. Ok, nevermind... I was bored too
 and wanted to reply...

 | Tri Repetae, though you should consider finding the US release since it has Anvil Vapre and Garbage included.

 | I personally despise newer ae, but Incunabula and Tri Repetae ++ are awesome.
Plaids' double figure is decent, but I listen to the ae more
 frequently.
