 | First enw tracks I've put up for several months, so I thought I'd put up one of the "bigger" tracks. Shitloads of
 programming.

Drill track, but rather than my usual dark/edgy rifs, I did
it with warm/sad idm type melodies.

I hope you guys like this track as it actually took me a
fucking long time to get it right.

 I'm sorry I can't remember my html
 it's at
 www.mp3.com.au/orangedust
 Track called
 "Good Morning, Cruel World"

 OR alternatively copy+paste

 | I've noticed that typically the more you like your track and the more time you spend getting it right in your opinion,
the less I like it myself. I'd take corrugated rain over
 this any day.

much impossible to write to someone eklse's taste. Oh well,

 | Honestly, in my opinion, the melodies were good, the drums were generic. Nothing against it. But in my opinion there
wasn't much originality, though that may not be your goal.
Better than my music though ;-)
 Overall an enjoyable track though.

 | Lol Prove It! I can't remember uploading that one. Originally was the 1st track on a CD (Snap Freeze Selection)
I was putting together for Kaliscope recordings (Delet's
label). I loved it but I can remember a few people telling
 me it wasn't very good.

Amb - lol! Yeah, I guess. Cheers!

 | again, not for me.
after listening to some more tracks, I would say it's
generally because your music is kind of predictable.

there is never anything that really surprises me, be it in
 structure, melody or actual sounddesign.

I guess it sounds too generic to me.

 | yeah I typically don't really make IDM, I make music for my friends to listne to. I'm not in the game to make "something
that's never been done before omg omg omg" I'm just here to
do shit I like and I dunno. Being called generic hurts, man.
 Cheers.

 | I'm not saying that you should try to do "something that has never been done before" - I'm just saying that your music
doesn't suprise me, doesn't catch me offguard. that's
 something different.

and the generic thing - well, I didn't mean it as a personal
 attack or to be nasty.

I do, however, try to be frank with people.

and whatever you want to do is fine by me - it's your music,
you should be having fun making it. but that's what I
 thought.

 | okies......i listened 3 times and i have to say i LOVE the first 3:30 .....at about the 3:38 mark it took a turn that
wasn't eggactly what i liked (not that that's bad) but after
about a minute i went back to groovin'

 so overall i'd say A- , i'm not a musician so i can't
critique things in depth like some folks here.....however, i
know what i like and i have yet to hear a track from you i
don't.......so i guess you should keep making music that YOU
 and your friends like!
