 | hey xltronicers, it's time for love. Take a break from the board and do the following:

 * Gather the people in your home around you, and tell them
how much you love them. Don't be afraid to put your arms
 around them :)
 * Pick up the phone and call all your friends and family
(who don't live at home), and tell them you just had to tell
them you love them so much, because you really do...

Just for this hour, live like if it was the last hour of
 your life...

feel free to share your thoughts and experiences...
 love is not crazy

 | I'm pissed off at my family right now, so fuck them. And among human beings that aren't fictional, I only really love
 my mom and my grandparents.

 It's cool to hate!

 | well give them love when you've cooled down... I'm sure they'll appriciate it.

and actually if you would give love to them now, in one way
or the other, and they would respond to it in the same kind
way - the hate would be gone, and you would feel a lot
 better :)

 | Weatheredstoner's tips on life:
"Dont get too attached to any single person. The more you
love someone, the more they will hurt you when they die.
Example 'my mom is such a bitch for dying AND leaving me
with all this regret and sorrow.' If your mom really loved
you wouldn't she want you to be happy no matter what? Why
should her death be a burden to you. I say laugh it up.
Death is funny, because if you cant laugh at death you need
 to re-evaluate your life."

I don't agree. It depends on how a person dies, and when.
When a person is gone, all you have left are memories - and
that's why you should 'collect' them when the person is
alive... Spend time with the people you love!
Remember thoose special moments you shared with that person
 - and how lucky you were to have shared thoose special
 moments with that special person!

Why should [your mother's] death be a burden to you. I
say laugh it up. Death is funny, because if you cant laugh
at death you need to re-evaluate your life.

death shouldn't be a time of sorrow, but a time when
everybody who were close to the person get together and
 share memories about the person.
I say death is not tragic if you love the person.
Though being dependent on a person is not good. If you're
dependent, it's not really love either. Love is 'free'.

I should probably add to this all that if death comes
unexpected you might be shocked, which might cause you to
feel sad for a longer period of time.

The thing is, the reason why we are sad when people die = if
people die too soon. And the lesson here is : don't let it
happen! Spend time with the people you love! And show them
you love them and care about them!

hope you understand what you mean, and tell me if you
 disagre. :)
