did you write this review for amazon.co.uk? :
Bliss....heavenly bliss......!!!! No artist under the sun as diverse and progressive as the only genius left in music: Sir Aphex Twin...
Even though this album isn't totally revolutionary on the scale of
what Aphex usually does, it is by far the greatest electronic album well, since "Richard D.James/Come To Daddy", only Plaid comes close in my opinion ( well, in terms of beauty anyways)...
But Richard shows the music world again how he effortlessly he makes music....
Drukqs is the work of a schizophrenic genius gone insane , who yearns for times of youth and innocence....
Every possible human emotion is felt here... From anger to contentment....to total sadness.....feeling scared....
Fear, loathing, chaos and fragmentation and randomness is how he describes the times we're living in ( in the abstract ofcourse)...
No artist reads his times in such a multitude of ways as Richard D.James...
Why this 'man' isnt knighted into sainthood is beyond me.. The music world should be so lucky to have Richard amidst them,
since he makes everyone else almost seem one dimensional in terms of musical ability...(save that for David Bowie)..
Beautiful,avant-garde -Erik Satie/John Cage style piano pieces are thrown all over the album, amidst the straight-techno/drill n bass etc...etc.. pieces which makes this album by far the most musical diverse album by any artist released these past few years....
I'm not going to name all of my favorite track names, but I'll give you a few..... Gwely Mermans, Kasson Daslef, Avril 14 etc....etc... the list goes on...
The naysayers will eat their words in years from now, as this album is already a classic, trust me....you will not get a better album by anyone else for a long, long time...
And remember........Aphex always has tricks up his sleeve......to those of you who think that he's had it.......trust me...he will fool you if you think this now!!!!
--i figured you did since you referenced bowie as usual :) heh

Yup, and I know I went a little overboard on there but thats also because this would be read by more 'mainstream' people , thats all.
And ofcourse I do think he's the greatest...er..er.. How are ya Ross?Still living in Langley? Btw, they still dont have Drukqs at HMV or Virgin Records until the 13th of this month.
Ofcourse ya can get it at ZULU Records on 4th , just in case ya were looking....
