 | is this abnormal? because i can hear loads of them in my garden right now, its a real high pitched chirp sound not
dissimilar to the noise of a cricket. it's weird though,
it's like i can hear the sound in the back of my neck not my
 ears. am i batman?????

 | I have the ability to hear beats. They're not in my garden, but I have lots of CDs with them,
and I even make them myself. They come in most frequencies,
and I like them low aswell as high.

 | bats do make sounds that are inaudible frequencies, but you can easily hear quite clearly the chirp. my cat just killed
a bat in my apartment last week.

 | cool.
our cats chase and takedown squirrels. they work in teams.
one cat hides under a car or something and the other cat
chases the squirrel over to him then when the squirrel gets
close the fresh, non-tired cat takes over and finishes the
 job.

 | theres one rather high spot near the beach, perth is generally all flat

anyway its insane, bats often skim right over the top of the
hill, and fly at head level past when ive stood up there..
since then i can pick the sound of a bat :)

 use echo location myself.
