 | about my set on tuesday...
Ive been working on getting my set together.

Its pretty much all ambient, except for 2 tracks, that have
 beats.

I asked the guy putting it on, and he said ambient is fine,
if I mix it up a bit, and I guess I did...

 I dont know

 I hope this goes ok...

 AHHHHH

 | I hope all goes well for you on Tuesday - as long as the audience is not populated with ignorant fucks, it will be
fine - and if it is, well fuck 'em - they don't deserve to
 be an audience

 | hell, so what if it does - better to provoke a reaction, ain't it? :D It would be kinda cool to freak out the
straights and have them throw their swatches at ya ! :D I
could dig that if I ever had a gig -- I would foster
hostility, just for a laugh !

I always had this plan, if I was to become 'known' for
example, and held a concert - I would just have a piano and
play classical music on it for an hour!

 | play loud.
don't be afraid of volume - the 2 times I played live, I'm
always fidgeting with levels. just blow their heads off.

 | I once almost got to play live - when I was making straight-out techno - but the person organising it didn't
let me :( only my flatmate got to play - i was a little
gutted, but I didn't show so as not to make a dent in my
 esteemed flatmate's morale !

 | I would like to gig now, but I just don't think that my brand of music is the kind that is gigged :| maybe I'm
 wrong.

 | i agree, volume is key. make it so that they have to yell, that way, by the time the try to complain, they'll have lost
 their voices. j/k good luck
