hehehehe

you're goddamned right!!!

the cure for the Microshaft is installing Linux/UNIX

but then you need to know what you're doing in a new OS

i do but i can't be bothered. i'd only find something else
to moan about anyway.

offline oscillik from the fires of orc on 2003-08-02 10:56 [#00805413]

yeah, you'd probably have a moan about the fact that if you
don't have proprietry hardware, you'll have to spend days
writing your own device drivers....

shame

UNIX would be a great platform for music making if it wasn't
so comlpicated....

oh wait

Mac OS X is UNIX.....and it's true Plug & Play

....wait...

i HAVE Mac OS X

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what is soundtrack like? Is it a good music programme for
someone who's never used one before?

bollocks, my computer is too slow to run it! I'll have to
wait till my Powerbook arrives. Can you import your own
sounds to use or do you have to use what is already in the
programme?

yeah, this is the result of apple buying emagic.

You can tell just from the screen shots, that alot was
borrowed from logic.

Pantalaimon: although I havnt used Soundtrack... I can bet
you its pretty simple to learn.... its following the trend
of all the other media applications for Mac... easy enough
for novices to use, and powerful enough to get some decent
results.

And, if you like it alot, and want more... then you buy
logic.... its a very very smart buisness move on apples part
imo...
