....for PS2 is amazing. My cousin has brought this game
over, and it comes complete with a headset, where with the
use of voice recognition you can instruct your team to carry
out your orders, and they reply back to you.

Apparently you can play the game online as well.....very
impressive.

I shall have to get a copy of this myself, anyone else seen
it?

My buddy has it, and yes it is very sweet. He plays online
all the time with alot of our old friends who are off to far
away colleges. The headset is the cherry on top of that
shiznit, makes the game that much more realistic. I'll
definetly be getting it soon, in fact I don't really know
why I havn't already.

I haven't played it, but I think I just might rent it this
weekend, all because of this post. See how influential you
are? I like games like that, although that headset has GOT
to be the geekiest thing ever invented! I'd be embarassed to
play it unless I was home alone.

Make sure they rent you the headset.....

To use it you press 'O' and then say the commands you are
shown....then you watch them activate, and your team mates
respond....mega cool!

Jedi Christopher, I bought it used today! But... without the
headset. I don't really plan on going online with it
anyway... I hate online gaming. Playing it now... it better
be good, or you owe me 20 bucks.

The Soldier of Fortune games really are stupid.
When the first one came out they claimed it brought the
closest experience to the real thing LMAO

If you are running Win98 get SEAL Team from Home of the
Underdogs.
It gave depth of gameplay and control of a team of Seals
literally years before the Rainbow 6 games.
Class, and free for download too :)

I doubt you can get it running on XP though.

Hmmmmmm "Jedi Christopher" ... I like the sound of
that....so much more formal! :P

Seriously, I'm sure you will really enjoy it....let me know
how you get on with it!

Definitely like it so far... although the computer AI is
often completely inept! You could stand 2 feet in front of
them and they won't notice you, no peripheral vision. Total
dolts. Still a very satisfying game, although the missions
are very trial-and-error. Replay an area until you memorize
the best way to go about doing things, the placement of the
enemy, etc... that can get annoying. Pretty immersive stuff
though, I'm digging it like a grave.

7.5/10
