just bought tickets for squarepusher, a perfect circle, evan dando, and eddie izzard. Broke now though. Ah well. And im going to amsterdam in 3 weeks. |

damn you. i never saw tool (doubt i ever will unless they're new album (out in about 6 years) renews my interest in them). did you see them during the undertow tour? i would've loved to have seen them back then |

nah, i saw them 3 times on the lateralus tour. They did two dates in uk, then they came back 12 months later and did a one off in london. My friend introduced me to them [not personally] in 2000. They kick the shit man. |

the one off one was the best, They opened with a danny carey solo for like, 3 minutes, then it lifted into triad. It was so awesome. APC should be good too. [But not AS good, that just aint possible]. |

i heard that the deftones were opening for APC on their OFFICIAL tour, so you might get lucky. i saw a preview of their tour.....kinda sorta a couple weeks ago in DC. pigmy love circus opened (pretty decent) and then they did a SHORT 60 minute set with 3, maybe 4? of the new songs......made me wish for a FULL show dammit! i saw TOOL at Red Rocks on their last tour, i woulda liked to have seen them during the Aenima tour.....ahhhhh i've seen APC 12 maybe 13 times.....a bunch opening for NIN a couple years ago, and 2 times after that (counting DC) and i've never grown tired of hearing maynard sing those songs. one time he almost dropped his pants entirely during 'thinking of you' OYE, now that was a sight! i can hardly wait for the new album, let us know how squarepusher was, i wish i was seeing him. |

squarepusher wasnt that great to be honnest [see tom jenkinson thread], but i did meet him afterwards so all was forgiven. I dont think the APC date over here is on the official tour, its more of a one off whilst theyre promoting over here i think. Ah well. I'll still enjoy it no doubt. |
