 | I think i might have back problems. More than often i have back pains, but i don't do heavy lifting that often and i
haven't done manual labor in forever. my g/f was looking for
knots on my back the other day, and she said it felt like a
vertebrae was out of place. It probably doesn't help that i
sleep on my stomach every night either, does it?

 reservoir but Batman caught him.

 | back problems (in the absence of obvious physical strain/injury) are usually caused by psychological concerns,
stress. some physical things you can do, however, include
regular exercise including sit-ups to strengthen your
 abdominal muscles.

honestly, i wouldn't worry about sleeping on your stomach.
if that's how you sleep best, sleep that way, even if it
puts a little extra strain on your back muscles. if you
strengthen your body's support muscles, you can sleep any
 way you want.

most importantly, don't give in to the temptation to lie
down or remain inactive when your have back pain. you've
got to strengthen the muscles in your back and abdomen, and
massive relaxation will feel good in the short term, but is
 bad in the long term.
 resolve to exercise, every day.

try 600-800 mg ibuprofen (do *not* do this every day) if the
 pain is very uncomfortable.

if you see a doctor, see one who can help you develop an
 appropriate exercise regimen.

 | I hurt my back and i believe i did it whilst snowboarding but anyway, when i went to the doctor he said for ages 14-22
or something like that back pains come and go with little
excuse for ever existing so just take some of these here
painkillers, my good fellow, whenever the hurts be
a-bothering ye, and sure as hell is hot the pain will
subside within a year. And sure as heaven is soft and white
 and cloud-based, it did.

 | your problem looks a bit the same as mine,..i also have a vertebrae that is out of place, just visit the doctor to be
sure what it is, i had it all my life i was born with it(but
discovered it 2 years ago after they took pictures) they
even have a name for it, its called "scheuermann" i hope for
you it is not, if it is, there is almost nothing you can do
 about it.

you can only learn how to lift things in the right way and
 practise the back muscels
