During the day... I get all sorts of inspiration for drum
loops and melodies... but when I go to transfer them onto a
medium.... It all goes tits-up!!

Anyone else get this prob and is there a way to let the
beats out of my head without carrying a dictaphone around
everywhere?

AHHHHIT'S DOING MY NUT!

I think it's the same for everyone. I get amazing guitar
riffs in my head all the time, as soon as I pick up a guitar
and try to play it, the fact I don't get the tuning or chord
right straight away means the riff just vanishes straight
out of my head. :( It would be the same with a dictaphone,
even singing the riffs in my head warps them and fucks them
up

awwwh...

My music's like penicillin.
Works after days of fucking about, then getting something I
didn't expect.

Results: ALOT of shitty tracks to one good one.

I've actually got as 10 hour dictaphone type thing on my
(mobile) phone. In the past I've tried human beatboxing
rythms into it, but even when I record them reasonably well,
I can never get them into a drum machine properly :(
