please excuse my ignorance, i don't have all his stuff but i
love the aphex stuff i have. i just wondered if anyone could
give me some other names of people doing similar things. i
especially love the edgy, almost classical pieces. thanx

try out U-Ziq or Squarepusher, Photek is a great choice.

Don't miss Plaid and Boards Of Canada for heavens
sake!

Autechre are cool as well but a little bit
more...hmmm...complex.

thanx very much for your help. i've got some boards of
canada stuff (they're Scottish like me). Now i'm super
curious to find out why autechre is not what i'm looking for
so i'm going to investigate. i'll tell you how i get on.
thanx again

im not sure about u-ziq, i have the album dedicated to
damien and there is only really 4/5 songs that are really
good, his earlier and later stuff is more hard techno and
experimental, has he done any other albums?

encredible melodies and such!!
