made 2 new songs yesterday (no, i don't do anything else).
the first is Working Title (Working Feces Mix) I posted the original Working Title here a few days ago, and I personally like this version alot better, because of all the guitar. We called it the working feces mix because we are immature and the word feces makes us laugh. hehe...poop.
Second song is Kochlear - Under A Tuesday Sky (The Remix So Ambient Your... I think it's a bit self explanatory.
I know I post shit quite a bit, but i'd like any opinions i could get on those, thanks.

i will try to download those ASAP, but you'll have to wait because it's taking my phone connection forever to download sanguine's new stuff. it's not even halfway through yet! (20 min left approx. :-P
but while you're waiting, i would appreciate it if you would return the favor and listen to some of mine...
While you're waiting for my opinion....

i like the intro -- this track has a good sense of progression. the alternative guitars are definitely cool - it's an unexpected twist after the intro - this song is misleading at first. i do like how not all of the sounds are "within earshot." it gives a very mystic air to the song. it also shows a good ear for overall production quality. this song's strength lies in its dynamics, production and its attention to structure.
very unique, and quite good. though i have not heard the original mix. well done though! :-D
next...

the switches between beautiful and spooky moods is haunting yet smooth... it sounds like there's some -ok computer- influence here. the hyper perc lines in the background add a nice texture to the song.
this song has a nice timbre to it. like the last, there's a lot of sounds beyond earshot, and overall it has very good porduction quality. the reverbated synths are very fitting during the more dissonant sections of the tracks, and the consonant sections of the track come in at all the right times.
and like the last, there are good dynamics. the timbre is strongest part of this track. it also has good melody. the ending is unique. my only barb with this track was the beginning, where it sounds like some of the drum beats didn't really fit together.
but other than that, you have some very nice tracks sir. well done. :-D

thanks for your opinion. and yeah, the stuff sounds ok computer influenced because my guitarist listens to radiohead and radiohead only, and has a radiohead shrine where he sacrifices virgins.
i'm downloading your stuff, but i have to go to work soon so i'll hit you up with some opinions when i get back.
cheers.

oh and if you like the guitar-ish stuff more than the electronic stuff, you should check out the Kochlear section on this site since it's all post-rock (or whatever it's called).
