well yeah... and also, they are not at all affected by the room, like speakers are (I mean the sound that comes out). |

Headphones are good but i find them restrictive and my mixes always end up sounding weird on anything else. |

headphones and moniters are 2 totally different listening experiances. its wise to use both when mixing. but, my one thing about headphones... is the ear damage. when you are listening to your mix, you want to hear all the details, so you crank it up. This is no good for your ears... esp since you most likely will be working for extended periods. |

true true... personally, I think it's easier to do verb + panning and stuff in headphones. well, it depends on how you place (distance) your speakers to I guess. |
