Why America Is Great

I'm sick of all this USA-bashing, so let's discuss why
America is great. I'll get the ball rolling.

I love the fact that legally, property is valued more highly
than life ! You catch a burglar in your home on his way out
with your insured $30 toaster -- shoot him to death ! AND
you can get a reward for it ! YAY ! That's my reason - now
list yours.

america is great because we have an astounding tolerance
toward stereotyping, oversimplifying, wrongheaded critics
from abroad

The US is great because they have Perkins and International
House of Pancakes. Two establishments that this shitty
country lacks.

The way that you aren't judged (especially by the
judicial/and law-enforcer groups) by the content of your
character, but the color of your skin, among many other
insignificant things..

Broadsword through the ribs !

Tho what I said is totally true ! there's even a business
that rewards homeowners if they kill them a burglar ! yay !
smell the green stuff ! You're fully within your rights to
kill a burglar on your premises - even if he's halfway outta
tha window on his way out !

I like the communal nature of people fomr america, they're a
lot more outgoing and down to earth than most

I really love the country. I just got back from a month in
Nashville and had the time of my life. The majority of
Americans i met were friendly, intelligent and had good
senses of humour. USA is a great place. It's just their
media and government that gives the States a bad reputation.

i beg to differ! I had a drunken meal there last week and it
was simply devine.

yes, I've met many Americans who are decent people. I've
also met many Americans who are total brainwashed oiks !
More-so than in the United Kingdom ! Although the United
Kingdom is becoming more rotten every day !

a drunken meal anywhere is, for the most part, "simply
devine"

i tended to avoid the brainwashed oinks. and belive me,
there are plenty in Tennesee. the type of folks that like to
keep it in the family. I just treated them with the contempt
they diserved. It's the same everywhere. There is always a
slew of idiots for which the Dickhead Republican Radar comes
in handy. :)

You're only saying that cause you can't afford a toaster.
Get a toaster and you'll think differently about burglars, I
tell you what.

if you must know I had the cheese and onion omelette with
hash browns and pancakes. I shall take this oppurtunity to
divulge that I thorughly enjoyed my meal and made sure to
inform the IHOP waitress Denise of my satisfaction.

pizza.

I shall have to investigate ! I love my toast, and I'm tired
of having to play roulette with what condition the bread
reappears in !

if you've got a conventional toaster, i've found it works
best to rotate the position of the bread every minute or so,
most toasters have certain "hotspots" on them and it's
usually best to move the bread around so it isn't constantly
exposed to it on the same area..

IHOP is genius, I used to cut 1st period back in high school
and go there with some mates, you got french toast,
pankcakes, eggs AND bacon for 5 bucks. Now THAT'S a deal.

thats like £3 english money: for that you couldn't even get
someone to spit in your face in london: a decent sized
burger king is like £5 now and no free refills and shit
like in america: it is cool that the food is cheap there but
it aint so cool that all these children are getting knee
cracks from their excessively huge bulk

i've spent my whole life in the Seattle area in Washington
state and i love it here. The people are very friendly and
open minded. there are countless fantastic places to eat.
The number of micro-brews is astounding and all of them
produce great beer. The weed here is prime time and very
cheap.

i don't know much about the rest of america in terms of
live-ability but seattle is fucking great.
