on another topic...i need to del a worm from dos, that's under my "program files" dir tree, but i can't seem to access it via the "cd" command because it shows up as "progra~1"
how can i gain access to this?
(i'm running dos from a win 98 boot cd, prolly 16 bit and can't read dirs more than 8 chars long)

Uhh... you *can* let programs access the internet through ZA... wtf?? Try double-clicking the little red and yellow "ZA" in your system tray (bottom right corner of desktop) then click on "Program Control". There you will see the two different types of access: Access and Server. Mostly everything should *not* let be a server; However, some media Players seem to want this type of access (???). So, I usually click under the types of access and get the popup box on how I want to let the programs connect (Block or allow). There should be from left to right: Two green checks (marks) under "Access" and then two red checks under "Server" to deny the program as a local/internet server. You'll get used to it. As for your Win2000 machine, make a bootable DOS disk to access DOS (If your BIOS allows that type of thing). Then, I would at least take an A+ class....hahaaaa
