It's a bit of a nightmare at first but once you get used to
it it's an excellent bit of kit.

Do you have it?

I was actually following up to virginpusher, I was ask if he
did have it if he wanted any help with it.

When you do get it do you want help to get started?

i know you guys hate trackers (at least i got that
impression from reading some old threads) but modplug
actually does quite a good job. it may not have effects
(though the last version supports vst plug-ins, but i don't
use it), it may not have cool synths as buzz for an
instance, but with a good set of samples, some softsynths
like AXS or Analogic, and with SoundForge handy it really
rocks. i've been working with it for four years and i've got
quite used to it. it may lack tons of features but has some
abilities that i've never seen in any other type of audio
software other than trackers (i.e. really great envelopes).

and if you don't think great music could be done with
trackers just take a look at Lackluster's albums or Esem's
first LP. or one of my all time favourites - Ilkae's
"Pistachio Island".

ilkae is a damn good example of how trackers can kick
everyones ass if used right.

i dont use them, but i respect them at least.

The best tracker I've ever worked with was Octamed on
amiga... With midi out and it's own sort of synthesizer.
Mmm...

But now I only use Reason since I hade to sell all my
hardware to pay my fucking bills.
