my radiohead remix

i just finished up my remix for the radiohead remix
promotion which you can find here.. there are some
very interesting samples included, while they might not
resemble many of their songs, the strange samples make for
some interesting mixes.
my remix is located here
tell me what you think of it, if you want.

thanks, it means an extra lot coming from a old, smirking
tri-hat-thing and monacle wearing guy such as you.

on an unrelated note, i should meantion that i only used
samples provided.. i know there's a cheesy sounding "stab"
type sound in there somewhere, but i got that from the
samples somehow..

oh yeah.. and post your radiohead remixes too if you've got
one.. as to not make this an affair about only my remix..

!!!! it's good

sounds autechre-influenced (that's a compliment)

I like the ending and the middle and the beginning, but
especially the ending.

I STARTED to make one, but it was wack so i ditched it

thanks for listening.
you should keep working on yours.. even if you don't submit
it, it still makes for some great, wack-remix-creation
time..

yep, rodney dangerfield, in the flesh... err.. avatar form..
he's used in conjunction with the opening logo from the show
"blossom", a leering vigo the carpathian from ghostbusters 2
for nes, and a crying joel from micro machines for the nes,
as well..

Yeah man!
Burkani Faso!
No,
I don't actually live there.
But it was kind of like
one of those words;
(like somnambulation or colloquial or draconian dialect)
you just wake up
with it in your head
one day,
and then it's stuck
forever.

So, I was like
"what the fuck is this 'Burkani Faso' in my head, man?"
And I found out
it's some African country
that nobody cares about!
I found it
on a map of the world and
it has, like a city, and
one road
leading out of the country, and
maybe a railroad i think.
I think it's pronounced either
'Burkana'
or 'Burkina'
or 'Burkani'
but I prefer the lattermost.

GAAAAAAAAAHAHAFHAHF

OH MY GOD that's a good story - i enjoyed reading it.

YOu see:
The first time i came across good ol' Burkina, i was
type-type-typin away on my 'ICQ'. I was busy changin' my
profile and whatnot - when all of a sudden, she just popped
up in one of the scrolldown menus of countries.

and i have been in love ever since.

I just found out the capital is called "Ouagadougou", so
there's another plus for Burkina Faso

something..

no offence, but your likeness, if that's you in your avatar,
would make for a great muppet..

or cartoon character.. or something..
i don't know why..

offline morguean from Calgary (Canada) on 2003-07-25 03:06 [#00793210]

HAHA - none taken at all.

i think that would be wicked if i could be a character in a
cartoon or some shit.

although i think it kind of looks like i just got a stick
shoved up my bum

...yeah, they're still saying the submissions page will be
open for definite on July 25th..

hmmm.. that's today, right?

My remix's been finished for weeks, I'm having a lot of
trouble trying to upload it (or anything) to sites like
zebox and stuff....

I have tons of other music, too, I want it to be heard but
it's just not working....

Please help me///...I dont know..

hmm.. i don't know what to say really.. zebox seems pretty
straightforward to me.. you just gotta keep trying to upload
it, sometimes the page times out or something and goes to an
error page.. but it'll work eventually if you keep trying..
