I just started reading this book, and man is it
amazing....in that mystifying curious kinda way.

But just a question:

What the hell does the title mean?

Obviously it's a reference to the house in the story (or is
it?)...and for that matter why is the word "house" colored
blue everywhere it appears in the book?

I dunno man. I read it a couple years ago, well I was about
a sophomore in highschool, so maybe three. Couldn't really
get my head around it back then, maybe i'd enjoy it more
now. There are lots of deals with coloring of certain
words. Some word is red always too. I forget. A lot of
layout elements are used like that, basically, the text kind
of falls apart at the climax... I forget it it comes back
together-- oh well, you're in for it though...

Yeah i couldn't help skipping around a bit when my
girlfriend first showed me the book, and i've only
officially started reading it for a couple days now...very
alluring.

I'm about halfway through. I'll skip to the back when it
suggests to read up on details and stuff. Otherwise I'm
absolutely obsessed with the Navidson Record and how it
unfolds.
