 | You lazy moderators! Phrobiazero doesn't pay you nothing for nothing. I want to see hustling! The crossing out
of this useless thread had better be completed by tommorrow,
as well as aaaaaall the necessary related paperwork. I want
a complete report on my desk tomorrow morning!

 | Why does everyone use the phrase "god speed"? A popular example is "god speed you black emperor". Another example is
in the lyrics in "unchained melody" by the righteous
brothers: "god speed your love to me".

if speed is used as a verb the second makes sense, but the
first doesn't really, unless it implied that god moved "the
black emperor" fast from one location to another.

 | "God speed" is an Middle Ages English term for "good luck getting killed thousands of miles away in a foreign land
fight for your king who, frankly, doesn't give a damn about
your peasant ass and have your rotting carcass eaten by the
 local inhabitants."

 ;)
