Woohoo, I should find out tomorrow if I'll be working over
in the netherlands for a few months starting the end of
august or so... I hope I get it, it'll be sweet!! Also, a
buddy of mine is up for the job too, and their hiring two
people... and theres only 5 chosen, so 2 out of five is
pretty good odds... it'll be sweet to be over there with a
good friend!!!

So, make way for The_Funkmaster!!

well it's part of my program in school, so basically the job
is doing marketing research for this oil company... but it's
a sweet deal, they'll pay for my trip over and back, help
find affordable accomodations, pay 300 euros a month above
and beyond my salary and I'll receive a $1500.00 grant...
it's an awesome looking job!! :)

players?

Oh wait, that's Quebec...never mind.

Note, ladies and gentlemen, that this was the starting point
from the funkmaster being a nice, civilised, sadly mulleted
young chap into a whore fucking coke snorting bald obese
junkie.

ha ha, like the amount of Dutch people who can speak English
decreases outward from Amsterdam..

you'll be surprised at how many people all over the
Netherlands can speak English pretty well.

i know that many people here can talk english but what i
meant was, that in amsterdam they start greeting and talking
to you in english instead of dutch.

qrter, its more difficult to get along with just speaking
engels though as you do get away from Amsterdam. i found it
very difficult to keep speaking dutch in Amsterdam once the
person knew you where not dutch.
Now i'm a bit further out from Amsterdam my dutch has
improved 10 fold and i find i am trying more now to speak
the language.

hey wow! That's really very cool funkmaster! :-D
Congratiulations!

"this is scary stuff"

yeah i can imagine. I'd certainly be a little scared to go
to another country on my own for 3 months.

I'm sure you'll be alright though :-) You'll probably have a
great time and return to canada a better man. You know, more
courageous and self-assured and things like that ;-)

And just to let you know: they do show seinfeld over
here. Atleast you won't have to miss jerry, george & kramer
for 3 months! :-p
