Hiya,
Being avid music listeners / creators here, you guys with SB Live/Audigy cards would be using the kX drivers in Windows, right? (http://kxproject.spb.ru/).
Curious to hear about people's experiences with them - I've used them for about a year and a half now solely due to the extra clarity I get from Winamp, but never used them for the ASIO/routing crap I'm sure would make a musician cream their pants.

I tried them for a while and got better sound than wiht the Creative drivers but the analog in was still too noisy. You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

I like my Maudio 24/96 but I've has some headaches with it. It's not cheap either - $250.00 Canadian. It sounds fucking amazing though. I plug my Sony MDR-7506 phones right into it for a big creamy warm audio orgasm.
I've had to tweak and twiddle with it to get it to play nice with Cubase and Sonar so it's not recommended for people who dislike frustration. :D
I've heard the Hoontech cards are pretty good, and the Terratec models too.
