Rephlex stole their demo submission guidelines from
Emanate with just a few words changed.

* Raises eyebrow *

By complying with the guidelines below, we will
inevitably give your demo priority:-

* Please send us your demos for review on cd.

* It's essential that you put your contact details on the
disc itself (not just on the case).

* A 3-5 word description of what we can expect to hear would
help us listen to your submission more effectively.

* Due to limited time and resources, we instantly discard
packaging and accompanying letters and then rarely bother
with material that is not labeled on-body with contact
details - so save trees!

* Cassettes, dat tapes, and minidisc are NOT really wanted
unless it's all you can manage.

* MP3's and website links are NOT wanted under any
circumstances.

* We do not have the resources to return demos - sorry!

* Don't be disheartened if you don't hear back from us.
generally, you will only hear from us if we want to release
your tracks soon or if we think that we know someone who
might release them.

* In return for our precious time, we reserve the right to
subscribe your email address to our occasional electronic
mail-outs - you will be sent details of how to unsubscribe
if you want to tho'.

* Thanks for keeping us entertained with the sounds from
your world.

why would you want to do that anyway - are you sure it's not
the other way around - those demo submission details have
been up there for years anyway haven't they?

Hehe I'm jokingly saying they are thieves duh.. and I have
no idea who stole from who, I just thought I'd post it for
other people to see the evidence :P

It's my opinion though that it was Replex did the plagiarism
judging by the two sites..
Maybe they didn't but.. an intrigue like this keeps you out
of trouble and your mother would be glad for that :)

the rephlex demo policy has been there for a long time, ALOT
of labels based their demo policies on the phlex one. warp
even made theirs similar desiging it after the phlex one.

at any rate, solenoid is on emenate, hes got good tunes.

The Rephlex one has been there for years...that eminate one
is new...

It's my opinion though that it was Replex did the
plagiarism
judging by the two sites..

It seems a bit daft deciding Rephlex did the copying because
they have a very basic site. Besides I have always found
Rephlex functional for what it does, and that emenate site
is throwing up errors.
