nes always has been one of my favorite forms of entertainment.. i find the medium great for interesting music and listening to some of the great nes music was one of the things that got me interested in electronic music. if anyone agrees with me on this at all, tell me some of your favorite nes games and nes game music and why.. my favorite general game: 1.mario bros. 1/2/3 2.shadowgate 3.deja vu 4.a boy and his blob 5.arch rivals 6.micro machines 7.rampage 8.river city ransom 9.wacky races 10.who framed roger rabbit 11. zelda 1 12.tmnt 1/2/3 13.contra/contra force 14.kirby's adventure 15.krusty's funhouse best nes game music i.m.o. 1.shadowgate (great overal creepy vibe) 2.mario1/2/3 (classic shit) 3.zelda (also good classic music) 4.the castlevania series (strikes again) 5. a boy and his blob 6. tmnt 1/2/3 7. river city ransom 8. kirby's adventure 9. deja vu (like shadowgate) 10. contra. (intense nes muzak action) |

I agree heavily with Mega Man 2 Super Mario 3 had some great tunes and was a killer game. So was Gremlins 2. i wish i played the Metal gear games when i was a nipper. There was a great spiderman one that always really confused me. |

fave games: castlevania 1-3, super mario bros. 1-3, final fantasy, rygar, ninja gaiden 1&2, megaman 1-6, star tropics, legend of zelda, metroid, metal gear, a boy and his blob, CONTRA!!!!!! fave music: Ninja Gaiden Castlevania Metroid Contra But there are some Sega games with great music too! Fave Sega game music: Phantasy Star 1,2, 4 (fuck 3!) Shinobi: Shadow Dancer Shining Force II Sonic 1-3 & Knuckles Toejam and Earl (freestyle with crazy sounds is the shiznit!!!) Phantasy Star 4's music is SOOOO GOOD! |
