Beautiful Music

Maximus Volumus on 2001-10-31 10:40 [#00047454]

Sure, drum loops and sound effects may please for a while.
But sooner or later ur gonna need something more meaningful.
I have many songs in my favourite that are there purely
because they carry emotion. These include Song for Shelter
by Fatboy Slim, Beached by Orbital and....several others.
Top 10 Meaningful Tunes anyone???

mentioned in this thread if anyone wonders why i brought it
up...the thing is im about to go to a record store and im
thinking of getting the new cardigans album, but i havent
heard any song yet
is this worth getting? is the music alike their last
album(which was pretty fantastic)?

honest with you i had no idea that there WAS one. i'm
severely out of touch with the on-goings
of...well...anything, really. *sigh*

Yeah its really good.
I haven't heard the whole album , only two songs at the
radio .
They are more influenced by "country" music now.
you would think thats a bad thing but it really sounds great
, Ninas voice is almost as beautiful as herself.

i bought it...its very nice...only listened to it once tho
so i need more time to get into it...songs on their previous
album are really catchy...i think i'll need more time to get
into this new one but i already like couple of songs a
lot...i think overall the new one is not as pop as the old
one...

Yeah it's less pop , i downloaded it yesterday after reading
this thread.=)
i really like it , music to chill to.
I think Nina's singing has really evolved.

she has a really nice voice

i think this new album is musically evolved as well...it
sounds very orchestral

the previous one was much "lighter"

Opeth - Damnation

this whole album is beautiful and so meaningful too... the
last song lets me speechless. (and the lyrics are just as
important and brillant as the music, they get the balance
just right)
