I have a dvd player on my computer, it's a mac, how can I take stills of films? Where can I download a program for this, does anyone have one, do you know what I'm talking about? |

you need a video card with video in and you can very easily take stills or you can download the film a take stills that way. bump |

dude... if your running mac os x alls yah need to do is use pause the movie open the program "Grab" (it comes with x) then go file grab screenshot. Thats it man. |

if your using 9 there are lots of shareware appz that do the same thing. Goto Macupdate.com and look for sum. |

Yeah, if you mean control and shift, that doesn't work, it takes the picture, but you can't keep it, it just takes a picture of what the screen looks like when you've got no DVD playing, I mean, you take the picture, and it's there, but it's funny, it moves around, I feel like I'm having an anxiety attack talking about this, I better stop now. |
