I hate all of you already for not replying to my thread.

This and one other band I hold in super high regard.
Quality fucking rock, looking to get signed soon, and you
need to hear them.

The Empty

new songs are "Proposal" & "Her Flame"

dear god listen to something that will make you scream in
delight.

simply can't get over it.

They did good, real good. Her Flames, omg, once you listen
to it twice, you never ever want to stop.

*right now i am listening to Frank: he made me

I just love this! I miss rock music like this! It reminds me
of getting together with folk before parties and getting
rowdy and drunk!!!

*proposal = good.

I like the little breakdowns! I love how after like 2 min
exactly it just starts kicking ass after it already was
kicking ass!

Her flames = currently on

sometimes i get reminded of early glassjaw. like
kisskissbangbang style. kinda not alot.

whoa as this song progresses i can tell you that i like it
more and more! good call because i think the best comes last
here! and i am only a 1:55 into it!

offline virginpusher from County Clare on 2003-07-17 21:32 [#00784465]

around the 3:30 mark it is mega classic with the slowness
and real gruff screaming! Nice combo. I love the guitar iffs
here. So mellow and calm and here it is "breakdown". Nice!

It just ended and that is by far a real good song. It was
good before but now i do wanna hear it again! I am so
burning those on a mix because the mammajammas at my work
need to hear this!!!

Points: 7210 Status: Lurker | Followup to virginpusher: #00784463

basically, for the last 3-4 days, that song is all I listen
too.

I love proposal as well, but Her Flames.....oh my

"blood drips from clothing
and we'll pull back your skin
to see, what you have underneath
what you hide"

Points: 7210 Status: Lurker | Followup to virginpusher: #00784465

hey, I'd really appreciate that. People are blown away when
they hear it, but it takes a lot to have people with decent
taste hear it.

If someone appreciates good rock at all, they dig this
stuff. Here, it all falls on deaf ears.

Spread the word, and feel free to tell all your friends,
have them write the boys too, and encourage them on!

I will definately drop a line myself because it is not too
often nowadays that you hear decent rock music!

Thanks again MR BlatantEcho!!!

drive-in sorta... with a kurt cobain voice.. a bit.

So this is something that i can goto my local "bestbuy" and

lol, no way, not yet at least

Jake said some labels have contacted them, but they haven't
shopped it around yet.

Supposedly these are the tracks, maybe one more, that will
make a proper EP, that they will then send to labels.

If I had money, I'd sign them right here and now.

Write Jake, tell him George sent you (that's me) and that
you want to spread hte goodness too, he appreciates good
vibes like that.

I play them for everyone I know, everything I can to spread
the love for these guys.

btw: I have no idea who's voice is in the background at the
beginning of "Proposal" I don't think it's bobby, doesn't
sound like ryan, and he never sings, same with jake.

a little "mystery" if you will.

lol, good on you, they thrive off of positive energy.

at least that is how it seems to me, when you talk to them,
tell them you like what they do, they try to hide it, but
they can't they're all smiling.

glad you took the time to write them, hope you get a chance
to spread their music wherever you go, I try to do the same.

wierd. At first i didn't like it so much. But i have to say
that weather you like it or not it will grow on you, like
all good music does!

Bravo!

ok, listened to Her Flames and Proposal...

i think i probably liked it a couple of years ago - does
remind me a lot of at-the-drive in and glassjaw. Bit too
aggressive for me now tho, think I've moved on from that
now...

have to admit, they're better than most other rock bands
around, that I've heard on the radio/TV/etc (e.g. The
darkness *pukes* and the like...)

hey man, that is actually the kind of reply I expected from
a lot of people here, and I appreciate your input.

I think even most idm heads (myself too) can not like
something a whole bunch, but really appreciate the talent
etc. inherent in the song.

I happen to really love the rock music, so I really REALLY
get off on this kind of stuff, and it just doubles the fun
knowing they are good at what they do.
