Hi. I'm in Nashville right now. I thought UK TV was bad
until I started viewing the pile of discarded kipper spleens
that is American TV. On NBC you have Who wants to marry my
dad? Cupid(with that perma-tanned fudgepacker Simon Cowell),
Big Brother 4(complete with cheezy MIDI music for added
"drama"). Then there are the goddamawful soaps like Passions
and Days of Our Lives. I'm not gonnae even get started on
the Christian Television Network.....This is one screwed up

I was being ironic - the sole purpose of my trip to SF is to
bunk down in a shitty motel and flick my thumb vigorously
about the remote while heavily intoxicated with class A
