 | I said I make music, would you think any less of me? Would you be interested in hearing it?
Or buy a gun with a bullet with my name on it?

 | a lot of us make music....over 50% IMO ...but it's pretty cliche to put it out here. A good thing is NOT putting it up
on some mp3.com/zebox-server, and instead make a decent page
that makes it look more prof. and tells something about you
 - Another thing is the way to present it. "DOWNLOAD MY FREE
MUSIC!!!" is NOT the way ahead here...

 | go for it dude
i dont really agree with junktion...

this is a great place to get feedback... mp3.com/zebox is
fine. You arnt trying to sell records, you just want to
 share your work.

As far as how to advertise it? well, I dont think there is a
good or bad way... or a successful, or unsuccessful way...
sometimes youll get 100 replies, some times 1.

Just realize that there will people who dont like your
stuff, no matter what. So, just be prepared for that.

But i say go for it

 | zebox and mp3.com sucks...not because it's easy, but because people don't download your music for keeps when they can
stream it. And they end up never really give the tunes a
proper listen. So you'll end up with one time listeners
 only.
Besides - while a lot of us sit on a proxy-server on work we
can't visit mp3 and zebox, even if we didn't want to
download. I find it annoying that I can't read about the
artist when i want to, and then later go home and download
 the tunes...

But ok...I might just have the right "webmaster"-connection
and knowledge to keep my music on a dedicated
homepage, so just go for it man...

listen when I get back tonight.

 | I'm overly interested in figuring out ways to handle things - in other words "a master plan" behind the small things in
life. So i don't agree with you when you say "I don't
think there is a good or bad way". There's always a way
to do things that is better than other, and the sneakiest
and most psychological way is most often the one that works.
I.e. Do you think Aphex still would have been that
interesting if he didn't say "fuck the fans and what they
 think about my music"?
