which is your fave pop song if you had to name just one?

i'd say mine is bowie's 'let's dance' because not only is it
a wicked tune, but it was number one in the UK singles chart
on the day i was born, pretty cool i'd say, so whats yours?

arnie and the teminators: i'll be back

fucking loved that when i was a kid, doubt many people
outside the uk would have heard it.

seriously though, as mentioned above, kylie; confide in me

i seem to remember a couple of other tunes by her from that
time that were ok aswell, dont know names though.

The Ladder, The Beautiful Ones...those kind of tracks.

Michael Jackson - Off the Wall

Björk

I'm really a sucker for good pop music, but I find most pop
with chart success shallow and uninspired...

i like almost everything of the commercial pop and r'n'b
stuff on german music television. if you're not taking it
serious it's great entertainment. momentaenous favourite is
rock wit you (awww baby) by ashanti.
best thing about it are the lyrics: awww baby, uh baby, oh
baby, uh baby, aww baby etc.

I'm drinkin' a soy latte
I get a double shotie
It goes right through my body
And you know I'm satisfied
I drive my mini cooper
And I'm feeling super-duper
Yo they tell me I'm a trooper
And you know I'm satisfied
I do yoga and pilates
And the room is full of hotties
So I'm checking out their bodies
And you know I'm satisfied
I'm diggin' on the isotope
This metaphysics shit is dope
And if all this can give me hope
You know I'm satisfied
I got a lawyer and a manager
An agent and a chef
Three nannies, an assistant
And a driver and a jet
A trainer and a butler
And a bodyguard or five
A gardener and a stylist
Do you think I'm satisfied

Hey scenario dr , I remember buying that cassingle "arnie
and the teminators: i'll be back" that's going back a few
years now, hilarious stuff, any idea when that came out?

oh yeah, gotta agree with the earlier micky j stuff,
especially his "off the wall" album,

Well... erm, anything Beatles. But that's too obvious for
me, so I'll say Michael Jackson's Thriller. Loaded with
goodness that you don't have to wrack your brain to enjoy.

somewhere aswell. if i remember correctly it came from a
sketch on steve wrights radio 1 show.

the star-treking song was also pretty funny!

Venus Hum - Big Beautiful Sky

(if this could be considered pop, more like underground
electronica with vocals)

many would say that anything that isn't 'western art music'
is pop -- but the word has really taken on a meaning of it's
own!
