I have a copy of this and it says 'promo'. Was this a promo
only release?!?

And is it true that MEN2 AFX 'smojphase' e.p. is a vinyl
only release? I have a hard time getting hold of it and the
guy in the record store says its vinyl only...

All WAP124 12"s (and they're all 12"s) say promo on them.
Therefore I guess you can assume that it was a promo only
job. Though they were available to buy, via mail order,
through old red'n'back-style Warpmart. For ages. But not any
more.

And its in mint condition too. I just moved houses and it
poped right out of one of the boxes I've put away for
years... I just had my turntables fixed up so the last days
have been great musicwise.. Vinyl is such a GREAT format.
