the following is a message in behalf of titsworth : hi all. i just wanted to confirm that yes, i have been banned, i have not chosen to leave. i've had a good time here since 2001 and i'd miss the board, no question about that. i was posting this morning fine but right before i was to leave the house to catch a movie i decided to refresh a topic only to find this message: "Sorry, in consequence of your previous behaviour, you are unable to post to this messageboard" (now you know what it looks like should you be next). and contrary to what i thought, once you're permanently banned you actually CAN'T view the board (at least i can't). i didn't mention it on the board but last week i was actually banned for 7 days. it wasn't until the 5th day that i actually found this out, as i was off doing bigger and better things for those first 5 days. shortly before the week was up i emailed the crew to ask why i was banned, as it caught me by surprise to say the least. after several days and a few more emails only 3 crew members eventually replied and not one knew why i was banned. i still don't, neither then nor now. i can say it's not from mentioning "He Who Must Not Be Named" (and if my account wasn't deleted you could browse my messages and see that for yourself). if it were for flaming, i'd have to politely disagree with that. although like a lot of you i've had some heated arguments on here, i've kept my cool enough to not resort to personal attacks. there's a fine line between critiquing someone's opinion or attitude and flaming them and in my opinion i haven't crossed that line. i've never sought out enemies as i don't have time for that sort of nonsense in my life. if i've made some, and from what i've heard, i have, i regret that but am not too sympathetic toward people insecure and petty enough to induldge in hating some internet person they've never met. that's not what message boards are about. and if someone says i've flamed them, that i've attacked them out of nowhere and that |

continued..... and if someone says i've flamed them, that i've attacked them out of nowhere and that they were being completely civil towards me and not baiting me at all, there's the burden of proof that they have to worry about. i have asked for my specific offending messages that warranted my temp and now perm ban and after almost a week they have not been produced by the crew. if my ban is a just and reasonable decision than there must be evidence of my bad behavior. my ban still hasn't been explained to me except that i now know who did it and that it is, at least for now, permanent. i've been in contact with the moderators and webmasters offering an open ear and my full cooperation. hopefully this can be worked out quickly so i can resume posting my thoughts, opinions, advice, and information as per usual. should someone need to contact me (bear in mind that i cannot read the board) my email address is titsworth@graffiti.net. sincerely, -travis (titsworth courier, esq.) p.s. and no, i didn't harass anyone off the board because i don't talk to or about any of you on soulseek or any messenger service. nor did i do any hacking. really, really, really not my style. |

Interestingly enough when my brother "soon" began posting here neither of us could access our accounts. Couldn't view the board either. We emailed the higher ups and the problem was solved in a mere hour. Perhaps this could be resolved via email? |

my own thoughts on this..... why this happened....i have NO clue, and it's very perplexing considering the HARRASSMENT i've put up with from lots of people on this MB for NO REASON at all. i find it VERY interesting that people can continue to subtly insult OTHERS and nothing be done, seems like a different standard is set for others which in my view it totally unfair!!! BEcho and recycle your comments verge on the disrespectful, i expected more from both of you, but now i can see how wrong i was to think you were FAIR! |

But anyways, even if me and tits fought, I would never ask that he be banned (and why would they listen to me? people dont get banned for not getting along) And anyways, we havnt fought in awhile really... so I dont know what that was all about. what's strrange about this is that in the past if people have been banned everryone has known about it. it's a big deal because the only thing that has warrrrented a ban is something that causes mass chaos. this has not happened. i can't underrstand what would be so bad that he should get rremoved. |
