We might all as well just pack up and go home. We're fucked
as a society.

scary stuff!

i love this quote: "Of course, you can't transfer the skills
directly. They are working with hamburgers. Unlike children
they don't talk back."

well he couldn't be worse than some current politcal
leaders..
i figure all he would do is lobby to make McNugget one of
the basic food groups taught to children at school.

well, it's probably more effective than a bake sale. i
don't know about where you're from, but right now the
schools in my state are facing some tougher times budget
wiset than usual. there is a great budget deficit, and many
important programs (mainly in the humanities, also, great
teachers may lose their jobs) are in danger of being cut.

it's downright shitty that it comes down to things like
this. i remember seeing movie translites in grade school.
my school got a lot of money for switching from pepsi
machines to coca cola machines, and i say, take the money
where you can get it.

doing this really makes sense..?
you'd think they could cut back the funding a little from
unjustified wars and increase pay to public school
teachers..
but i guess that would be a little too logical for the
governments of the us/uk.
it's really "nice" to know that today's children's educators
are being partnered with such a corporation, that's
endangering our planet and rainforests/etc.. just to have
some damn cows grazing closely together in south america,
filling the ozone with methane gas and killing possible
cures to diseases, just to make the "burgers" (can you
really call them that?) less expensive.. you'd think they
could fucking spread out where the cows are grazing and
people would support them and pay the extra few dollars, but
instead they just go the cheapest, most evil route..
i'm not going to say that eating meat is wrong or right..
you can make your own decision about that.. but corporations
like them doing what they are doing is wrong..
and every time you visit their so-called "resturant" and eat
their so-called "food", you are supporting them..
mcdonalds and the government, a match of corruption made in
hell..

the best part is that that 250 pounds the school made doing
drive through for 2 hours is probably two times the paycheck
as they guy working the grill 40 hrs/week.

mimi, the radical cutbacks in funding for education are a
direct result of a conservative republican government first
and foremost. i honestly feel sorry for the state of
affairs which my american neighbours must endure. no
universal healthcare system, post-secondary education
available principally to the upper crust of society and an
ever-increasing influence of giant corporate conglomerates
in all aspects of life, right down to the educational
system.

american schools ought not to have to rely on corporate
funding to make sure that, as george dubya so aptly put it
"the children is still learning", but rather appropriate
steps ought to be taken to make sure that proper funds are
alloted towards education rather than military spending (the
$80 billion tab for the war in Iraq being just one example).

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to get a job at McDonalds
for one day just so I can piss on everything they serve.
You'd better not be coming to any ft worth mickey d's soon,
or else you might find a turd in your shake.
